Collapsible Drop Traps

Foldable live animal traps with a gravity-closing door mechanism for practical handling, storage, and transport.

Collapsible Drop Traps are designed for live animal capture, combining a foldable wire-mesh structure with a gravity-operated drop door. When the trigger mechanism is activated, the door drops to close the entrance, helping contain the animal inside. The collapsible design allows the trap to be folded down when not in use, making storage and transportation more convenient. These traps can be considered for cat rescue, stray cat management, and other live-capture applications, depending on the specific model and configuration.

Collapsible Design

The wire-mesh structure folds down for compact storage and easier transportation when the trap is not in use.

Manual Rope-Release Mechanism

The drop door is held in the raised position and released by pulling a rope manually, allowing the door to drop over the trap entrance.

Drop-Door Structure

The vertically dropping door allows the trap entrance to be closed remotely by the operator using the rope, without directly handling the door at the moment of closure.

Application

Multiple-Cat Capture
Designed to capture multiple cats in a single operation, depending on the trap size and conditions.

TNR Programs
Suitable for trap-neuter-return (TNR) programs involving community cat population management.

Feral Cat Colony Management
For caretakers and animal welfare organizations managing groups of community or feral cats.

Stray Cat Rescue
For rescuing multiple stray cats in suitable locations using a manually operated rope-release mechanism.
